Essence of Song

Essence of Song is a memoir from a songwriter’s perspective.

I have spent most of my life deeply affected by music and its power to guide me through some of life’s most challenging moments.

Each of the titles below, with the exception of the prologue, is the title of a song I have written. Through each chapter, I will share the story behind the song…my thoughts, my innermost vulnerabilities, and the places in my life from which each song was born.
